Cancer screening

5000 underprivileged women

This project aims to enhance early breast and cervical cancer detection for underprivileged women in the Medchal-Malkajgiri District of Telangana by integrating advanced, accessible screening devices—the FDA-cleared iBreastExam for breast cancer and an AI-driven platform for cervical cancer—into two government hospitals for 5000 women.

By training healthcare professionals, streamlining referral systems, and combining innovative technology with public partnerships, the project will screen thousands of women, facilitate early diagnosis, and empower hospitals for sustainable, long-term cancer prevention.

How We Solve This Project

Ajaz Rashid secured funds for the breast cancer screening project funded by IOCL TAPSO for Mahita through a strategic and multifaceted approach.

Additionally, Ajaz facilitated partnerships between Mahita, government health departments, and technology providers, ensuring project sustainability and integration into existing healthcare infrastructure. Through expert resource mobilization, donor engagement, and financial oversight, Ajaz Rashid successfully secured the necessary funds to empower Mahita in delivering this impactful, technology-driven cancer screening initiative.

"Thanks to the screening at the government hospital, I was able to detect a problem early and get help quickly. The process was simple and painless, and the staff treated me with kindness and respect. I feel hopeful now, knowing that such care is available to women like me. Though I wish to stay anonymous, I am grateful for this life-saving service in my community."
